On August 20th, 2002, RoboChrist Industries performed the "Advershow" at Metropolis, a large rave event in the parking lot of Candlestick Park in San Francisco. The entire performance was presented essentially as a mock advertisement for the non-sensical "products" of Robochrist Industries, and included a video-projection of a commercial touting the lifestyle-enhancing properties of these products. Unsurprisingly, the entire spectacle degenerated into a catastrophic disaster exposing the ultimate undesirability of buying into the hype.
