The Attacknid is an eight-legged walking machine powered by a single-cylinder gasoline engine. All four legs on a given side of the machine are mechanically linked and synchronous, so that they can be controlled in a forward-stop-back mode. This makes the control of walking in either direction and turning much like controlling a tracked vehicle. This machine has donned a wide variety of attachments; it originally sported a simple but effective flamethrower, and at one time it was even fitted with a large flame-spurting phallus! In March 2002, it finally got a permanent dedicated head flanked by twin-stream flamethrowers. Unfortunately, it suffered considerable damage in its first outing in this configuration (see the third picture), but it has been repaired! It is currently undergoing yet another re-configuration, this time to improve its walking efficiency.
