This was a relatively simple device I built for a music video called "Adriana" by a band called "Headstrong." It was basically a conveyor-belt type assembly with infinitely adjustable speed. It was shot in a variety of ways, but the most interesting effects were achieved by shooting it motion-control, and subsequently, through the use of computer graphics, adding various images to the plates mounted to the conveyor belt. The net effect was a kind of creepy, post-apocalyptic flip-book.
