Solar Turbine Engine Pix

This is obviously not really a machine... yet. You're looking at a Solar T62T-32 turbine engine, sometimes referred to as a jet engine. It was originally manufactured as the powerplant for a ground-based generator unit. With help from Steve Lassovszky, one of many geniuses I am lucky enough to know, I will be getting this thing running and eventually use it as the powerplant for a new robot. 160 horsepower in a 120 pound package - pretty damn cool.
